The Foundation for Community Encouragement (FCE) has both its significant past and present. FCE appeared in 1984 and was founded by 11 people who were inspired by Dr M Scott Peck who was a psychiatrist in private practice and served for the government. Although Dr M Scott Peck is not only a qualified psychiatrist and bestselling author, in recent years both he and his wife, Lily, dedicated all their time to the work of the Foundation for Community Encouragement because main people were in urgent need for such nonprofit organization founded specially for those individuals who longed to a friendly community. The main idea of the Foundation for Community Encouragement is to help people to find ways of being together and to achieve a sense of community.
